RB:  Which country would you say has your favorite fashion?

 Morissette:  France

RB: Where does your fashion inspiration come from the most?

 Morissette:  Well I can say that I don’t really have any inspiration, I just collect everything I owned and try to be creative enough to make an impressive look.

RB: What inspired you to become a fashion guru?

Morissette: I don’t really consider myself a fashion expert, but what I always make sure is that I wear my most flattering outfit that looks good and pleasing to the eyes.

RB: If you could choose any genre of fashion from the past to make a comeback, what would it be and why?

 Morissette:  Since I’m from the Philippines, I really love to bring back the era of us wearing “Barong” for men and a “Filipiñana Dress” for women but with a modern twist already. It’s our national costume/attire and I really hope that it will be known and appreciated internationally.

RB: Mine would be the Front Row Oversized Sunglasses but what fashion accessory could you not live without and why?

 Morissette:  Well, I really love wearing necklaces and headwear. I feel like those were really essential to complete my overall look.

 RB: How had fashion impacted your life the most?

Morissette:  Fashion has a really big effect on the lives of many defining styles and cultures. Fashion plays a big chunk of how people see themselves. But for me, fashion contributes to boosting my confidence, self-esteem, and away also for me to express my personality and style.

RB: How do you spread your personal trend while inspiring others?
 Morissette: Very simple, just be yourself. You know your proportions and clothes that suit you so wear something you’re comfortable with. Wear stuff you think fits you well not those things you think others would love to see on you.

RB: What are the possibilities of adding custom jewelry?
 Morissette: That’s a really brilliant idea. Looking forward to it.

RB: Can you add more trend-setting outfits from different decades of fashion?

Morissette: Well I'm not really a trend-setter but I really would love to see Barong and Filipiñana Dress internationally.

RB: Can you share with us some tips on how to get a fashion badge in Avakin?

Morissette: Like what I always say, be an observant. Always check the previous winners' look. Look what hairstyles they were wearing. Brands like Mon Coeur, LKWD Couture and LA Haute Couture has tons of great dresses that winners always wore. Try to wear “ALL” possible items you can even look over-dressed sometimes, from wearing accessories to facepaint. The last trick is mindful of the camera angle and pose. To sum up everything, ALWAYS CHECK THE PREVIOUS WINNER LOOKS!

RB: What challenges do you face being the fashion guru?

 Morissette:  I don’t really have any big challenges facing except for being mindful and picky of what I wear because I’m afraid to be criticized badly based on how I look.

RB: Which colors will we see on Avakin Life this fall?

 Morissette: Always green whatever season (my favorite color)

RB: What’s your favorite style?

 Morissette:  Haute Couture Fashion Style

RB: What does fashion mean to you?

 Morissette: I'm gonna answer this with a quote: “Don't be into trends. Don't make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way youlive.”

RB: What Is it involved in your daily tasks as Fashion Guru at Avakin Life?
 Morissette:  Of course there’s a pressure of looking good always only not to be judged/criticized.

RB: Which color should I use on my eyebrows if my hair is Pink?

 Morissette: Seriously, I don't know what color matches pink cause I hate it.

RB: What is the most stressful part of your job?

 Morissette:  Nothing. I loved it.

RB: Who is the most stylish male member of staff at LKWD?

Morissette:  For the community team, I’m gonna say LKWD Adam.

RB:  What is the biggest fashion dilemma you have faced in real life?

 Morissette:  When you don't have money to buy clothes or anything you really want XD

RB: Who is your favorite fashion designer?

 Morissette:  Mak Tumang and Cary Santiago from the Philippines

RB: What are you most excited about the future of Avakin Life?

 Morissette: Looking forward on seeing “piercings” category, flapping/moving wings, avatar body and height customization, and lastly finding more ways of using gems to earn avacoins much faster than working in a cafe, sundown, etc.

RB: What is the best part of your job?

Morissette:  Meeting new people and hearing their good compliments was so flattering. Like you wanna continue what you’re doing cause you know that you inspire and make others happy.

Avakin Fashion Contest Tips

 TIP #1: Be a good observer. Always check the current trend or winner looks and outfits on the previous results. You don't need to always follow the criteria/requirements to win. I strongly suggest always check the brands "Mon Coeur", "La Haute Couture" and "LKWD Couture" if available because that's the clothing brand that winners were usually wearing on their look.
TIP #2: Don't forget to wear face paint and make-up to make a more impactful look. Except for Halloween face paints since its not November anymore. TIP #3: When it comes to accessories, if Bijouterie crowns are available, wear it as the headwear. For the necklace, I strongly suggest "Prysm Rocco Reign Necklace". For the hands, wedding flowers/bouquet (red or silver) or the "Reflective Moment Glasses" with matching "The Sartorial" pose would be great. If socks/tights were available, wear them too. Don't forget to wear tattoos also. TIP #4: When it comes to poses, make sure to check out the poses of the previous winners and observe the poses that most were doing. Based on experience, I always ZOOM-IN the camera until you can see your avatar's acne and blemishes. TIP #5: I don't know and not 100% sure if this affects the ranking, but I always consider TIME as a big factor in the result. Once the contest start makes sure to join right away. And of course to have more high chance of winning, join all the contests, don't be picky ok. TIP #6: Don't forgets to join the "silver" category too. You got more chance of winning in this category unlike in gold since they're only a few joins.
